Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink

Jimmy made an immediate impact when he joined Leeds with a goal and a strong performance against Arsenal. Since then, he's had more problems finding the net and has frequently been the player chosen to come off when George Graham wants a change. Hasselbaink has scored 42 goals in his 87 appearances that he made for Leeds. With the 1999-2000 season about to start, he slapped in a transfer request and stated that he would leave unless he was paid £60,000 per week. This would make him easily the best-paid player in the country but is hopelessly out of range of what Leeds could hope to - or want to - pay. Atletico Madrid took him off our hands and paid £12 million for the privilege - he's since bagged quite a few goals for them, but the team is not doing well. He returned back to England with Chelsea outfit for £15 million, and is still playing for the Stamford Bridge club in London until today.
