NEWS HEADLINE: A WIN AT LAST (by Kenneth Peh)
- Finally, Leeds United earn their first victory since losing many games at home and away in the Premiership campaign. Leeds beat Bolton away 3-0 with goals from Danny Mills, Robbie Fowler, and Jason Wilcox. Hopefully, this win shall be the turning point for the Whites to finally regain stability in the English Premier League, since the time when Terry Venables first took charge 5 months ago.

NEWS HEADLINE: HONOURS EVEN (by Soccernet)
- Leeds put a tempestuous last few days behind them to produce a heroic display on the Costa del Sol and ensure there was no further pain in Spain for El Tel. United boss Terry Venables and his under-performing players have been put through the wringer in recent weeks, coming under fire for a number of inept displays which have belied the talent in the team. But against Malaga, Leeds dug deep into their reserves of spirit Venables has long cited exists within the squad to produce a defiant goalless draw in the first leg of their third-round tie at the Estadio La Rosaleda. Venables named his strongest possible line-up but, with the squad down to its bare bones, he had only six players on the bench rather than the seven permitted by UEFA. Sidelined were Mark Viduka, Danny Mills, Dominic Matteo, Olivier Dacourt and Lucas Radebe, with Robbie Fowler and Seth Johnson still not fit after their injury problems, while Teddy Lucic and James Milner were ineligible - the latter as he is too young. It meant Michael Duberry was handed only his second start this season. Can this match be Leeds' turning point?

NEWS HEADLINE: 2 HOPELESS PEOPLE SPOILING IT AT LEEDS (by Kenneth Peh)
- For the past four seasons, though Leeds were at once quite an impressive side, but now looks to have hit rock bottom, but I believe the culprits to Leeds' slump go to only two people. They are current Leeds chairman Peter Risdale, and Leed manager of the last four seasons, David O'Leary. O'Leary did quite well at the start by bringing in some quality players to the side, and then guiding Leeds to Champions' League semi-finals. But after having to spend so much and still fail to win a place in Champion's League and silverware have proved too much for the taking. However, this is also to be blamed on Risdale for allowing so much money to be allocated to bring in the new faces (especially on Rio Ferdinand, the most expensive defender then). Now, though O'Leary is no longer around with Leeds anymore, but still is not helping Leeds as well with his current on-going fued with Risdale in public. If I am granted a wish, I'd only wish that both Risdale and O'Leary should just keep their mouths slam shut! It's way pointless if they keep going around screwing up at each other over who should be blamed for the current slump of Leeds United, when they both knew that they are the ones who should be held responsible for the problems they brought to this club in the past four seasons!

News Headline will be updated on Mondays to Fridays, weekly!
